Terms and conditions

Please read these terms before using Melton Tyre Services. They explain how we work, how we protect customers and vehicles, and what is expected after a mobile tyre fitting.

Vehicle and wheel condition photos

Before and after photographs may be taken of the vehicle, wheel, tyre and surrounding area. These photos are used as a record of the condition before and after work is completed, and help prevent misunderstandings or damage claims after the visit.

Wheel nut torque check after fitting

After a wheel has been removed and refitted, the driver is responsible for arranging a wheel nut torque check after approximately 20 miles of driving. This is standard safety practice following wheel removal and refitting.

Melton Tyre Services fits wheels using appropriate tools and procedures at the time of service. The follow-up torque check remains the driver's responsibility once the vehicle has left the fitting location.

Tyre specification

Where available, tyres are fitted to the vehicle manufacturer's specification, including the appropriate tyre size, load rating and speed rating.

In cases where the manufacturer's exact specification is not available or cannot be confirmed at the time of attendance, Melton Tyre Services will fit a suitable like-for-like tyre based on the tyre currently fitted to the vehicle, subject to safety and availability.

Customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information where possible, including vehicle registration, location, tyre size, locking wheel nut key availability and any known vehicle issues. If a customer is unsure, they should contact us before work begins.

Safety and access

Work can only be carried out where it is safe and practical to do so. If the vehicle is in an unsafe location, further recovery or movement of the vehicle may be required before work can begin.
